Number of cases saw a sharp increase after unlock 1.0 in state

JAIPUR: One person died while 364 others were tested positive for Covid-19 in the state bringing the tally to 16,660 on Friday.
With one more death, the state’s toll stands at 380. Jodhpur reported its 38th fatality.
Districts which reported new cases are Jaipur (60), Bharatpur (43), Sirohi (42), Pali (41), Kota (29), Barmer (27), Jodhpur (25), Karauli (14), Bikaner (13), Jalore (11), Nagaur (8), Jhunjhunu (7), Alwar (7), Dausa (5), Ajmer (5), Jaisalmer (4), Sikar (4), Dungarpur (3), Sriganganagar (3), Sawai Madhopur (2), Bhilwara (2), Churu (2), Hanumangarh (1), Banswara (1), Baran (1), Bundi (1) and three from other state.
As many as 222 Covid-19 patients have been cured taking the tally of such patients to 13,062.
In Jaipur, 25 different places reported 60 cases.
Apart from these cases, 20 have been tested positive who have returned from foreign countries under Vande Bharat and have been kept in institutional quarantine facilities.
Health minister Raghu Sharma said the increasing number of Covid-19 cases can be controlled if people take proper precautions. He said that although ‘awareness campaign’ is in progress to make people aware throughout the state, each and every person fulfilling their responsibility has to take all precautions to defeat Covid-19.
Sharma said the number of corona positive cases has increased in the state after Unlock-1 because of carelessness of a few people and due to people coming from abroad.
