CM Shri Chouhan will distribute Kisan Credit Cards to 63 thousand new beneficiaries
Government assistance of Rs 800 crore to cooperative banks/societies

New Kisan Credit Cards will be distributed to 63 thousand beneficiaries including farmers, livestock breeders and fishermen on Tuesday, 22nd September under the Ghareeb Kalyan Saptah, being celebrated in the state to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate a state level programme “Sabko Saakh-Sabka Vikas” at Minto Hall at 11.30 am. Cooperative and Public Service Management Minister Dr. Arvind Singh Bhadoria will preside over the programme. Government assistance of Rs. 800 crore will also be provided to Cooperative banks / Societies to provide loans at zero percent interest to the farmers of the state.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also interact directly with the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, cattle rearers and fishermen. On this occasion, Apex Bank will present an amount of Rs one crore for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The programme will be broadcast live on regional news channels and various platforms of social media.
Cooperative Minister Dr. Arvind Singh Bhadoria has said that the state government considers development of farmers, cattle rearers and fishermen on top priority. The state government is also providing them with credit cards for their financial empowerment and required amount to cooperative banks to make loans available to them at zero percent interest rate.
MAP IT sends record 2 crore messages to connect with the event
New records will be created to connect with common people through the programme organized with the spirit of “Sabko Saakh-Sabka Vikas”. Principal Secretary Cooperatives Shri Umakant Umrao informed that about 2 crore people have been sent messages by the Department of Cooperatives for free-registration to join the programme through MAP IT. For this, the necessary data has been made available to MAP IT.
12 lakh people will join live telecast
Principal Secretary Cooperatives Shri Umrao informed that live telecast has been arranged at 40-45 thousand places to reach out to the masses through the Cooperative Department’s programme on September 22, in which about 12 lakh people will join. Besides, a weblink has also been sent to directly connect 15 lakh people to the programme through Mygov. This will be a new record with regard to the number of people joining the programme.
