KOLKATA: The West Bengal government on Saturday asked for the Indian Army‘s support to restore essential infrastructure and services in cyclone-ravaged areas.
The state government has also urged the railways, port and private entities to provide support.
Ten more NDRF teams are being rushed to West Bengal to speed up relief and rescue works in the wake of cyclone Amphan, officials said.
