Delhi doesn’t release Covid-19 data for Tuesday | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: On a day when Covid-19 cases in the city would have almost certainly crossed the 30,000-mark, the Delhi government didn’t release coronavirus numbers till the filing of this report on Tuesday midnight. The data is supposed to be released at noon daily.
The delay in releasing data comes at a time when test numbers are going down, from nearly 5,000 last week to 3,700 on Monday, while cases are increasing sharply.
Delhi has been getting over 1,000 new cases daily since last week, with Monday recording 1,007, Sunday 1,282 and Saturday 1,320.
As on Monday, more than 29,000 people have tested positive for the disease and over 870 people have died in the national capital.
