Early to bed and early to rise, has made this topper successful

MANGALURU: Anush AL has secured the perfect score. But, more than him, it is his school that is rejoicing. According to Vidyaratna H, principal, Kumaraswamy English Medium High School, Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kananda, the school, for the last four years, has missed this perfect score by a whisker, she told TOI. Praising Anush for being a good student keen on participating in science seminars, presentations, essays, and elocutions, she said that the boy travelled daily for about 25 kilometers in the school bus from his house to the school.

Son of Lokesh A, junior engineer, MESCOM and Usha B, a homemaker, Anush follows the thought ‘early to bed and early to rise’

“I retire for the day before 10.30 pm and during exams, I wake up by around 5 am. “The pandemic and postponement of exams gave us a mixed feeling. We almost felt that we are losing touch with books, but once the examination dates were announced, it was all about dedication and focus towards academics,” he said.

He will be taking up PCMB for PUC and will decide on the stream of specialization, after PUC. He advises students not to worry about Maths and Science and to answer the exams without fear.
