EXCLUSIVE! Aparshakti Khurana: I am really happy to be back on a set | Hindi Movie News

Aparshakti Khurana has returned to Mumbai and to the sets. The actor, who had driven from Mumbai to Chandigarh with his wife a few weeks ago, is back to work and feels extremely elated to be around familiar faces, of course, with a mask on. The actor, who has recently shot a brand campaign in Mumbai and will now start shooting for the remaining portions of Helmet with Pranutan Behl, says, “I am back to Mumbai and it feels amazing to be back here. I am really happy to be back on a set. I will start shooting for Helmet soon. I am also expected to shoot a music video for a single. There is a lot of work lined up and it feels so amazing to see everyone so well prepared for the shoot. The first few days have made me feel extremely safe at work. The unit had ensured that everything, all the guidelines are followed and yet, everyone is comfortable at work. I can’t imagine, I had not been on a set for such a long time. I mean, I shot some stuff in Chandigarh but that was so different from this experience.”

The actor returned to Mumbai with his wife Akriti and his househelp Shiva, who was in Chandigarh with him. When asked if it gets overwhelming to see so many people in PPE kits and masks around, Aparshakti says, “The atmosphere at work is different, but with the current situation, better safe than sorry. Sooner or later, all of us will have to get used to this new normal so that we can entertain our audience. Completing portions of Helmet is a priority for us. Once the documents are in place, I will start work on a film in October in Punjab.”

Given that fewer people are allowed on sets now, did Aparshakti miss having his entire entourage with him? The actor says, “This is the new normal. The team is pretty much the same but the combinations that we work in changes, depending on the set and the requirement for the day. I have not let go of any of my staff members but we just have to work in combinations. Also, when I am at work, it doesn’t strike me that the team is smaller in size but off work, I do miss seeing some of my team members.”
