Actress Deepika Padukone, who is currently at home amid lockdown, is trying to make the most of her free time husband Ranveer Singh. From working out together to cooking scrumptious food for him and binging on movies, she is surely having a gala time. She has been sharing her quarantine diaries with her fans on social media.

Meanwhile, she has also been busy with her script narrations and prepping for her next films. Now according to the reports, Deepika has recently started engaging in yoga as part of her preparation for her role for Shakun Batra’s next.

Though Deepika hasn’t revealed about her character but she has been already gearing up for the film. A source revealed, “Ahead of commencing the shoot for Shakun Batra’s directorial, Deepika Padukone has started training for Yoga. It is a part of her preparation for the film. While there is no understanding of how this is going to be of help to her in the film, as not much is known about her character, it is only known that she has recently started training for it.”

There could be some connection of it with her role and the makers are keeping all the details under wraps. It is also reported that Deepika has been reading parts of the script everyday as she doesn’t want to lose touch with her character by the time they start shooting for it.

The film which also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi, was all set to go on floors in April. But due to the lockdown, the shooting has been put on hold. If the situation had been normal, a major chunk of the film’s shoot would have been completed in Sri Lanka. However, the actress will start shooting for the film as soon as the lockdown is lifted.

Meanwhile, Deepika will be also seen with Ranveer in Kabir Khan’s ’83. The film was scheduled to release in April but now it might hit theatres in December 2020. She will be also seen in the official remake of Hollywood film ‘The Intern‘.
