SRINAGAR: A senior IAS officer tested positive for Covid-19 late on Saturday night in Srinagar.
The authorities advised several officials and medical staff, who held meeting with the said IAS officer regarding the pandemic, to self-quarantine.
The IAS officer’s test result came only a few hours after he participated in a high-level meeting, which was attended by several officers including a financial commissioner and principal secretary, sources said.

Sources said if any one among them show symptoms, they would be tested immediately.
