Thar has also appealed to a new set of urban lifestyle-seekers, noticing significant interests of the public in the convertible top and automatic transmission in top end variants, Mahindra said in a release.
The all-new Thar has now become the only SUV in the 4X4 lifestyle category.
Thar has already made its space in the market despite being available only in 18 cities for test drives still Mahindra was able to cross an extensive booking number since its launch. According to Mahindra, 100 more cities will be made available with test drive variants by October 10 and test drives for the rest of the county will be available from October 15.
The delivery of the vehicle will commence from November 1. The all-new Thar will be a roar for the Indian roads and will let its consumers have a wonderful experience in the 4X4 SUV segment. Mahindra Thar second-generation has been priced between Rs 9.8 lakh – 13.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Thar, for the first time, sports a turbo-charged petrol engine along with a mHawk Diesel engine. The true-blue off-roader comes in 2+2 and 2+4 seating options along with three top choices: soft, hard and convertible.
