Dedication and bhoomi pujan of development works worth Rs 68 crore in Sumavali

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he will leave no stone unturned for the development of Sumawali. No poor will remain hungry. All poor families will be identified and given ration. The state government will identify every poor and give foodgrain slips to them and provide them ration at the rate of Re. 1 per kg. A massive campaign is being launched for this from September 16. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the programme organized for the bhoomi pujan and dedication of development works in Chhaira village of Sumavali assembly constituency in Morena district.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Union Minister for Agriculture, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia and State’s Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Aidal Singh Kanshana jointly dedicated and performed the bhoomi pujan of the development works worth Rs 68 crore. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Chambal Atal Progress-Way will be built at a cost of about Rs 8500 crores. It will provide employment to the youth of Chambal region. He said that a sports stadium will also be constructed for children. The government has also decided to restart the Sambal Yojana for the welfare of farmers and poor. Similarly, the government has resumed the schemes started to help children of economically weaker families in higher education. The government will pay the fees for poor children who wish to study in IITs, IIMs and medical institutions etc. He said that the recruitment process would be started soon. To ensure that women do not face problems, water will be made available through taps in every house.
Union Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a sensitive public servant who works in the interest of the public. He is working for the welfare of every class. The state government is operating several schemes for the welfare of farmers, labourers, poor, women and children. He said that he will leave no stone unturned in the development of the region. Today, he has given a gift to the region by performing bhoomi pujan and dedicating development works costing about Rs 68 crores here. Work is being done for education, health, road construction, electricity, tap water for every house etc.
Rajya Sabha MP Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that dedication and bhoomi pujan is being done for the development of Sumavali today. He said that today the Chief Minister has opened new doors for the development of the area by gifting these development works. Work will be done for continuous development in future also. The weaker sections will be connected to the mainstream.
Gift of development works costing Rs 68 crores
Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated and performed bhoomi puja of development works costing about Rs 68 crore in a programme held at Sumavali. This includes dedication of works worth Rs 25 crores and bhoomi pujan of construction works costing more than Rs 42 crores. Public Health Engineering Minister Shri Aidal Singh Kanshana, Bhind MP Smt. Sandhya Rai, District Panchayat President Smt. Geeta Harshana and other public representatives and officials were present in the programme.
