After months of speculations and teasers, BBK-owned brand Realme has entered the smart TV fray. The Chinese company has launched an affordable Android-powered smart TV; taking on the likes of Xiaomi, Onida and Kodak. Realme’s entry is sure to increase competition in the budget smart TV segment which is already quite crowded.

Realme smart TV price and availability
The Realme smart TV comes in two screen sizes — 32 inch and 43 inch. The 32-inch variant is priced at Rs 12,999, while the 42-inch model costs Rs 21,999. The TV will go on sale starting June 2 and will be available on both Flipkart and Realme’s official website. The Realme smart TV will be available offline as well.

As mentioned above, the Realme smart TV comes in two screen sizes — 32-inch and 43-inch. While the former offers HD-Ready (1366×768 pixels) resolution the latter comes with Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution. Other than the screen size and resolution, both the TVs have same specifications.

The smart TV has ultra-high brightness of up to 400 nits and Chroma Boost technology.

The Realme smart TV runs on Android TV 9 Pie and comes pre-loaded with OTT apps. The Google Play Store has over 5,000 apps. The TV is powered by ARM Cortex A53 Quad-core CPU with Mali-470 MP3 GPU. For audio, the Realme smart TV has 4-unit speaker with 24W output.

In terms of connectivity options, the Realme smart TV supports 2.4G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Infrared, and DLNA. As for the ports, there are 3 HDMI ports, 1 AV port, 1 Tuner, 2 USB ports, 1 LAN and 1 SPDIF audio out port.

The company is offering a one-year warranty on the smart TV and an additional one year on panel.
