Royal Enfield: Royal Enfield set to launch anti-bacterial headgears

NEW DELHI: Royal Enfield is planning to introduce anti-bacterial headgears to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The headgears will be equipped with Polygiene technology which will stop the growth of bacteria.
Along with it, Royal Enfield also kickstarted its #REGearUp campaign. The digital campaign encourages people to use headgears to cover their faces when going out. The motorcycle maker also urged its riders to keep themselves protected and safe.
These headgears can be easily washed and can be used repeatedly. Through our riding community, we want to highlight how to use the mask, sterilize it and also take proper care of ourselves while going out, taking deliveries, coming in contact with anyone possible, said Royal Enfield in a release on Thursday.
“In these tough times, we’ve seen a shortage of face masks and PPEs. In an effort to safeguard, protect our communities and drive awareness, we at Royal Enfield are encouraging people to cover their faces through a digital campaign #REGearUp. We aim to encourage people to use Headgear to cover their faces as a voluntary public health measure. In sync with our initiative, we will be soon launching new headgears and face masks with Polygiene Stay Fresh Technology, which is a fabric treatment that inhibits the growth of bacteria,” said Puneet Sood, Head, Apparel Business.
