The leaked images show a quite bulked-up version of the Rexton G4 and it certainly looks like the SUV is trying to up its ante with the bold and strong visual cues. The Rexton G4 facelift has an aggressive front fascia with an octagonal grille with chrome claddings on the side. The LED headlamps and the sleek fog lamps give it a very bold image.
The elevated hood with strong character lines makes the SUV appear much muscular than its predecessors. The thick wheel arches, the all-black alloy wheels, and the shoulder line guarantee a strong road presence too. The SUV gets revised T-shaped LED taillamps and Rexton badging and the illuminated side step complement the sharp image of the Rexton G4.

According to the reports, the automaker might be rolling out an additional turbo-petrol engine with the existing 2.2-litre diesel engine of the SUV. The current 2.2-litre diesel engine is expected to be unchanged and will continue to offer 189 PS of power and 422 Nm of torque.
The 2021 SsangYong Rexton G4 or the facelifted Mahindra Alturas G4 is not going to arrive in the Indian markets anytime soon as the updated BS6 model was just launched early this year.
The official word from the Korean automaker is yet to be out, but if the reports are true, then this facelift is quite an upgrade and the Rexton G4 will be making quite a stylish transition to the next stage.
