Tata’s few old nameplates have been a hit to the Indian roads like the Indica, Sierra, Sumo, Safari and the Nano. The current generation of Tata hatchbacks and SUVs are rated as the safest on the roads, ranging from Altroz to Harrier.

Tata Motors is also India’s largest EV manufacturer with 67% market share and leading the way on electric vehicle adoption in India. Tata achieved the 1 million production mark for passenger vehicles in 2005-06, 3 million in 2015 and now successfully reaching the 4 million production milestone, the company informed.
