Teen stabbed to death in Mumbai over ‘sword’ row | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: A 19-year-old boy was stabbed to death and his friend severely injured in Antop Hill, over a petty fight about a handmade sword. The deceased, Naki Sayeed Khan, had taken the sword from his friend, Shabbir Saikh (19), but failed to return it, which caused the two to fight. Khan’s friend Mustaqim Shaikh was also stabbed, and is recovering at Sion Hospital.
Shabbir was arrested for murder. According to sources, Khan borrowed the sword from Shabbir a few months back to cut a friend’s birthday cake. On Thursday night, Shabbir intercepted Khan and Mustaqim at Kapak Naka in Wadala and asked him to pay Rs 3,000 if he was not going to return it. This led to an argument, which ended with Shabbir stabbing the two and fleeing.
