THANE: A cement Mixer truck descending the Yeour hills met with a mishap, late Thursday evening, after the driver lost control of it and toppled along the roadside.
Preliminary analysis by rescue and police officials hints at brake failure.
Luckily, the mishap occurred while the vehicle had reached the foothills, else it could have been fatal, said rescuers. While the cleaner managed to jump off the vehicle in time, the driver, Sameer Shaikh, (m/ 32 yrs) was unable to escape and got stuck inside the cabin.
