The BS6-compliant machine is an amalgamation of cutting edge technology, high specifications and ergonomic handling, Triumph said in a release.
The new ADV motorcycle will be available in the following variants – Rally Pro, Rally and the GT. While the Rally pro is the top-spec motorcycle loaded with multiple rider modes and customization options, the entry level GT with its low seat height will open the premium adventure segment for new adventure riders. The Tiger 900 Rally pro will be the first of the available models for India.
Shoeb Farooq, Business Head – Triumph Motorcycles India said, “With the all-new Tiger 900, we want to set new benchmarks in the segment and transform every ride for maximum adventure.”
He further added, “While the idea was to launch the Tiger 900 in May, but it will now come only in June. Looking at the anticipation and response from the customers we decided to open the pre-bookings, so as to be able to service the first set of customers.”
With the ongoing pandemic and the opening of businesses, Triumph has put across an SOP to ensure social distancing and hygiene norms are followed across all its dealerships. All motorcycles will be sanitized before test rides and dealership visits will be aligned only on booking a prior appointment. Triumph has also initiated home test rides & home deliveries of bikes keeping aligned with the social distancing norms recommended by the Government.
