TVS Apache: TVS Apache series hits 4 million sales mark in 15 years


NEW DELHI: TVS Motor Company on Monday announced that the Apache brand has hit the 4 million sales mark. The motorcycle has been in the Indian market for almost 15 years.
The TVS Apache entered the Indian markets in 2006, to compete with its biggest rival brand, the Bajaj Pulsar.
The TVS Apache brand has had 10 motorcycles in its line-up over the 15-year span- 150 IE-Surge, RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 160 4V EFI, RTR 180, RTR 180 ABS, RTR 200 4V, RTR 200 4V Race Edition, RTR 200 FI E100 and the RR 310.
Over the years, all the motorcycles in the Apache line-up have shared the same platform with significant changes in design, overall body, cycle parts, engines, oil-cooling, air-cooling, fuel-injection and much more. The recently-launched superbike TVS Apache RR 310, is built on a completely new platform with a new design language.
