But you will be shocked to know that Enron’s lawyer was Chidambaram..!! ie, P Chidambaram v. India..
Time went on..!! Later ‘UPA’ became the government..!! Chidambaram became the finance minister and hence could not fight the lawsuit on behalf of Enron..!! But he remained a legal adviser and favored Enron whenever possible..
Next is the revelation and shocker..
P. Chidambaram immediately removed Mr Harish Salve from Enron case..appointed Khabar Qureshi instead of Harish Salve.. You are right, this is a Pakistani lawyer. Imagine, a Pakistani lawyer representing India in an international court.. Please note, this Pakistani lawyer was appointed by the CONGRESS government..
CONGRESS gave ₹ 1400/- Crore as lawyer’s fee to Pakistani lawyer on behalf of Government of India..
This is a very easy case for India to win..but, you can see the stakeholders involved..like Indian finance minister supporting Enron and Pakistani lawyer for India…obviously India lost the case and A huge compensation of ₹38,000/- Crore had to be paid.. But, the media did not publicize this..
Now think how much fee would have been given and taken to fight a claim case of ₹ 38000/- crore..??
CONGRESS is more destructive than our ability to think..
