Modi attacks Mamata government; says Bengal youth forced to migrate.

In a public rally in Durgapur, PM Modi stated that West Bengal, once an industrial hub attracting people from across the country for employment, is now in a situation where its youth are compelled to seek jobs in other states, even for minor opportunities. He highlighted the alleged lack of job creation and the decline of industries in the state under the current administration, stating that existing industries are shutting down and new ones are not emerging.

Modi further claimed that the TMC government acts as a “wall” obstructing the state’s development and promised economic transformation if the BJP comes to power.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal, accusing it of fostering “lies, lawlessness and loot” during its rule. Addressing a public rally in Durgapur, PM Modi claimed that people across the state were now turning to the BJP with hope.

The youth of West Bengal are being forced to migrate to other states even for small jobs,” the Prime Minister said, criticising the TMC administration for failing to provide employment opportunities.

He also promised a shift in the state’s economic trajectory if the BJP comes to power. “Once the BJP government is formed, Bengal can become one of the top industrial states in the country within a few years,” Modi said.

Citing incidents of violence and alleged administrative inaction, Modi questioned the state’s investment environment. “Where riots like those in Murshidabad occur over trivial matters and the police act with bias, how can anyone invest in a place where there is no hope for justice?” he said.

Moreover, alleging that the Mamata Banerjee government has encouraged infiltration in the state, PM Modi said, “For its own benefit, the TMC government has put the identity of West Bengal at stake. Infiltration is being encouraged in the state.”

These remarks intensify the political battle between the BJP and the TMC ahead of the upcoming West Bengal assembly polls.
